Course One:Model Creation and VisualisationCourse Description:This course will focus on the benefits of using a 3D Model-based approach to design and how the information contained in the model can be used. The content will also include techniques to be beneficial for visual appearance, model analysis, document presentation and export.

Course Two:Document Production from the Virtual Building ModelCourse Description:The course will focus on the techniques required to extract valuable 2D Document information from a Virtual Building Model. The content covered will include converting live section / elevation information to ‘drawing based’ content, using the 3D Document Tool, detail extraction from the model and a selection of schedules and zone lists. Also covered is the importance of utilising the Trace & Reference Tool for comparison purposes between live and linked views.

Course Three:Document Management and PublicationCourse Description:The course will demonstrate techniques to maximise potential time savings using correctly configured ‘saved views’ to streamline the transfer to drawing layouts followed by the export to multiple formats.
Course Outline:- optimising navigator
- use of automatic numbering / naming
- document layout master sheets with company details
- element attribute customisation (layers, lines, fills, zones, pen sets etc)
- managing revisions of data
- controlling interactive schedules on drawing layouts
- exporting data to .pdf and .dwg
- utilising the embedded redlining capabilities
